Good afternoon everyone! It's time for the final review in my "February Funnies" review series until next year...Here is my take on the 2019 comedy "Good Boys"😂

"Good Boys" is an outrageously vulgar, but well intentioned coming of age adventure that revolves around a trio of middle school friends, Max (played by Jacob Tremblay), Lucas (played by Keith L. Williams), and Thor (played by Brady Noon). All three have that sixth grade struggle life going on...Max has a crush on a girl named Brixlee (played by Millie Davis), Lucas just found out his parents (played by Lil Rey Howry, and Retta) are getting a divorce, and Thor, who wants to auditions for the school musical production of "Rock Of Age" feel discouraged by his peers not to. After Max gets the gang invited to a, finna be lit, party at the home of popular kid, Soren (played by Izaac Wang), he jumps at the chance to possibly kiss Brixlee, since she will be there. With no experience of kissing whatsoever, Max, Lucas, and Thor use his father's work drone (that is strictly off-limits) to spy on his neighbor Hannah (played by Molly Gordon), and her not for long boyfriend, in a mission gone wrong to learn how to kiss. After Hannah, and her friend/girlfriend, Lily (played by Midori Francis) take a bat to the drone, the boys become in a panic to buy a new drone before Max's Dad gets home from work, and in time to make it to Soren's party😬 After Max steals Hannah's purse as revenge, the boys don't realize that she has some Molly (the drug) in her possession...and she and Lily will do whatever it takes to get it back! Now, the boys must figure out a way to make the money to purchase the new drone, while keeping Hannah and Lily off their tails through mishap, after mishap🤣😂🤣

While the hilarious "Good Boys" does feature it's fair share of crude, and sexually explicit language, in the grand scheme of things the film is about a group of friends, all with different interests, who want to remain friends, while at the same branching out to have fun doing what they are good at🙂

Yes, it can definitely be awkward seeing kids this age talking about such topics that they do, but it is as hilarious as it advertises, and the meaningful ending really helps you appreciate the first hour and fifteen minutes of sheer crudeness😂🤷‍♂️ I sure hope middle school age kids of today are not knowledgeable of the topics and language featured in this film though😂😲

Personally, I think all three lead actors, Tremblay, Williams, and Noon, are fantastic, and all have perfect comedic timing!

Consensus: While "Good Boys" relies a bit too much on the crude, you can't deny it's freaking hilarious🤣😂🤣 Plus, I appreciated the film's well intentioned sincere ending, and message of your true friends will always be there for you, even when you want to branch out to do the things you enjoy, that they may not!
