OH MY DOG!
The kiddos are sure in for a treat with "Paw Patrol: The Movie"!! I'm only slightly familiar with the Nick Jr. show since my little sister has watched it, and we actually did go to the live stage show, but this "Paw Patrol" full length feature film is filled with all of the rescue action, and heart that the kids know and love, but on an even bigger scale! Plus it's the perfect length for a kids film, clocking in at just 1 hour and 16 minutes.
The film centers around...well duh the "Paw Patrol"!
You have, German Shepherd: Chase (voiced by Iain Armitage),
Bulldog: Rubble (voiced by Keegan Hedley),
Cockapoo: Skye (voiced by Lilly Bartlam), Dalmation: Marshall (voiced by Kingsley Marshall), Chocolate Labrador Retriever: Zuma (voiced by Shayle Simons),
Mixed Breed: Rocky (voiced by Calum Shoniker),
a new addition - Dachshund: Liberty (voiced by Marsai Martin),
and the human leader of Paw Patrol - Ryder: (voiced by Will Brisbin)!
When their rival, the devious Mayor Humdinger (voiced by Ron Pardo), begins to create nothing but troublesome havoc after being elected Mayor of "Adventure City", Ryder and the pups set out to try and stop his antics. However poor little Chase has an untold past in Adventure City that we learn about, that unfortunately brings back a fear inside that he hasn't felt in years. Will the Paw Patrol, and their new friend Liberty be able to stop Mayor Humdinger before his antics completely wreck the city? Well, I recommend you take the kiddos to see the movie to find out!
This flick was pretty darn adorable, and a perfectly entertaining time, especially for younger kids I think! The animation sticks pretty close to the show, but it's way more polished and more highly produced!
The movie also features the voice talents of Tyler Perry,
Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Kimmel, Dax Shepard, and Yara Shahidi.
All in all, I think kids who are bonkers for the show, and even just younger kids in general will have a great time viewing "Paw Patrol: The Movie". It's simple, it doesn't try to make things complicated to where they can't understand what's going on, plus it's educational at times!
"Paw Patrol: The Movie" is now playing in select theaters, and streaming on Paramount +🎬🐶
