Happy Fri-Yay to all of my fellow movie lovers out there😄🙌🎬 Today I am reviewing the new romantic, adventure-comedy starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, and Daniel Radcliffe!

In "The Lost City", Loretta Sage (played by Sandra Bullock) is a widowed, best-selling romance-adventure novelist, who is struggling to find the same spark of inspiration for her writing as she had when her husband was alive. Thanks to some tough love from her publicist, Beth (played by Da'vine Joy Randolph), Loretta is able complete her newest book, (which she is keeping hush hush and to herself that it will be her last). After an awkward tour stop, promoting the latest (*last) book with her cover model Alan (played by Channing Tatum) who portrays the fictional hero Dash in her books, Loretta completely loses it - and reveals to the audience, Dash, and Beth, that she is done writing for good! Just trying to get away from the disaster she just endured, Loretta calls for an Uber...little does she know the stories she's been writing about for years are soon to become a reality! After being chloroformed, Loretta wakes up in front of a maniacal billionaire named Abigail (played by Daniel Radcliffe), and a beautiful table display of charcuterie😂 Abigail explains to Loretta that he believes the lost city in her books is fact/not fiction, and he insanely believes that she knows where it is...(he crazy)🤣 So, when she refuses, off they go✈️ What Abigail doesn't realize is that Alan saw Loretta get into the wrong Uber back at the book tour stop, so now he wants to prove to the world (well...mostly Loretta) that he is more than just a ditzy cover model, and that he can save her, as Dash does in the books. Don't worry Alan, if you end up still being just a useless ditzy cover model, Beth is on her way... just in case...

While "The Lost City" definitely delivers on the fun, it can be a bit dumb at times, and I thought that the humor was a bit weak in spots. I was really hoping that the film would be equally as funny as it is fun, but unfortunately that is not the case. The previews definitely made it look funnier that it actually is! There were certain lines that came off as funny in the trailer, but they must've been from different take, or edited, because in the actual movie those same lines aren't delivered in an as sharp or comedic tone.

Brad Pitt does have a brief cameo in the movie, for about five to ten minutes, at about a half an hour in - and in my opinion it's one of the funniest sequences in the entire film! I also thought that Da'Vine Joy Randolph (as Beth) was also very humorous at times, mainly because of her facial expressions and the looks that she shot people😂🤣👀 You can tell Sandra Bullock, and Channing Tatum are having a lot of fun, and both deliver great performances, however I thought Tatum was the standout amongst the two!

Like I said, I have to give the film props for being fun😄 I thought it was a tad bit rocky in the beginning, but once Sandra Bullock's, Loretta, and Channing Tatum's, Alan, begin to find their footing in the midst of the treacherous jungle, the film eventually becomes a more enjoyable experience!

Consensus: While "The Lost City" beholds just enough fun to keep it from crumbling, some better laughs could've made the foundation even stronger😉
